Nigeria's Rafiatu sets new Weightlifting record in Rabiat, Morocco.

Nigeria’s weightlifter, Folashade Rafiatu Lawal has set a new African record in the -59kg women’s snatch weightlifting event at the ongoing African Games in Morocco.

Folashade who lifted 90kg in her first attempt before breaking the Africa record in her second attempt with 92kg, is in exceptional form and is looking set to keep making a win and bringing in more gold medals.

As at reporting time, Nigerian weightlifters have already won seven gold medals and more are expected to be won today and till the tournament is concluded.

The All Africa games is currently ongoing in Morocco and it will be running from Fri, 16 Aug 2019 – Fri, 30 Aug 2019 in Rabat, Morocco and taking place in 2 locations.

My Thoughts.

The Nigerian delegation is presently putting in good work at the tournament and they look set to keep winning more golds.

I wish them success and hope they come out winning.
