Xhaka gets stripped of his captaincy.

Granit Xhaka has been stripped of his captaincy after a fallout with fans last week against Crystal Palace, and replaced with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Swiss midfielder who was substituted in the second half in last month’s match and was jeered by supporters, responded by cupping his ear to the crowd, telling them to ‘fuck off’ and stormed down the tunnel.
This news as shared is as seen in the video interview given by Unai Emery who has also gone on to drop him from the Arsenal Europa League squad.

The decision wasn't exactly swift but was put in a vote by the team members who actually voted him in. Aubameyang got the slot and will be wearing the armband for the Gunners.

My Thoughts.

I think players who behave unruly should be called to order and not allowed to get away with their childish rants during play.
I think being substituted is no reason to get upset and also, the fans will react in ways that seem okay for them at the time of play. There is so much adrenaline during these games and when the fans expect more and a player doesn't come through, there is fits and boos.

Do you think Xhaka is good to be booted out?
Do you see Aubameyang making a good captain for the Gunners?
