Did you know that chess boxing is a real sport? I kid you not, there is a sport where people play chess and box. I think you win if you get a checkmate or a K.O. You don't play both at the same time (though that would be cool) and you switch them between rounds. If you don't believe me check out this clip.

For this contest I want you tell me about a hybrid sport in the comments.

Tennis polo, also known as toccer is a hybrid sport that combines both tennis and soccer. It comprises of 9players and a goalie on both sides and played on a field. The tennis ball is used here. The goalie gets to prevent goals from entering his net by using a racquet not hishand like in soccer

Polocrosse is a sport that is played by a team. There is a hybrid of two sports, polo and lacrosse. The game takes place on horseback and you need to score goals by dropping the ball between the posts of the rivals goal, using special sticks with rackets from the net.

Do you know Bossabol?

This is a kinda "peculiar" sport that consists in the mix of three modalities: Football, Volleyball and Artistic Gymnastics.

The team can touch the ball with their hands, two strokes with their foot and one touch with their head. Win the game the team that scores 15 points first. The bossabol practice court is fitted with a large inflatable mattress, and two trampoline beds, which are separated by volleyball net.

Usually, it's practiced in open places.
