🎯 What Is Last Man Standing?

It's simple. Every gameweek you pick one Premier League team to win. If they win, you survive. If they draw or lose, you're eliminated. That's it.

The twist? You can only pick each team once across the entire competition. As the weeks go by, your options shrink. You need to be smart about when you use the big guns — and brave enough to back a surprise.

The last person still standing at the end wins the prize. If everyone goes out in the same round, the prize is shared.

📋 The Rules

• Pick one team per gameweek — they must WIN for you to survive
• No repeat teams — once you've used a team, it's locked for the rest of the competition
• Deadline — all picks must be in before the first match of each gameweek kicks off
• Forgot to pick? — you'll be auto-assigned the first available team alphabetically from your remaining options
• Postponed match? — you survive the round automatically and that team goes back into your available pool
• Last one standing wins — if everyone goes out in the same week, the prize is shared

Head to sportsblock.app and look for the Last Man Standing competition in the Contests section. Entry is free — just sign in and confirm your spot.

Gameweek 30 kicks off this Saturday 14th March. The pick deadline is 14:45 on Saturday — 15 minutes before the first ball is kicked. Get your entry in and make your first pick before then.

Do I need MEDALS to enter?
No. This edition is completely free to enter. We want your lazy asses to jump onto our site and let us know how great we are. Just sign up and pick your team.

Do I need a Hive account?
Yes — SportsBlock is built on Hive. If you don't have one, you can create one during sign-up on the platform.

When do I make my first pick?
Picks for Gameweek 30 are open now. Deadline is 14:45 Saturday 14th March before the first kickoff.

What happens if I forget to pick?
You'll automatically be assigned the first available team alphabetically from your remaining unused teams.

How many gameweeks are left?
There are 8 remaining Premier League gameweeks this season — plenty of time for the competition to produce a worthy winner. Last Man Standings are usually resolved by week 7 or 8. If there are contestants remaining after the last game of the season we will divide up the prize.
