Jasprit Bumrah who had sustained back injury is improving as he is closely monitored by Mumbai Indians. He is also expected to play in the upcoming game against Sri Lanka or Australia, come early next year.

According to Mahela Jayawardane, Bumrah has started training, meaning that he is back on his feet again.

Hardik (Pandya) who also underwent a back surgery is recovered and is expected to play also. Both Bumrah and Hardik are believed to be very valuable for the Indian National team than Mumbai Indians. Jayawardane believes since the next play is in January/February, they will be fine completely. Although that depends on the Doctors.

However, Jayawardane may not want to put much pressure on Bumrah even when he feels he is young and has a lot more in store to offer the team.
