My proposed FIFA FIFpro World XI, 2019

Last season FIFpro

Every year, eleven players are chosen to form an eleven man team. Basically, they are eleven players that performed brilliantly based on their positions. This year's edition will be coming up soon and there might be surprises. The 10 man list of FIFA best player of the year is already raising eyebrows; I believe this one will be argued on, too. Before that happens, here is what I expect on the list. I'll start from the goal keeper.

Alisson Becker - Goal keeper

The Brazilian and Liverpool goal keeper won the champions league and Copa America this year. He had the most clean sheets in EPL and got the golden gloves. He was brilliant this year, so if there's anyone that deserves to be at the goal post, he should definitely be the one.

Alexander Arnold - Right back

He did well this year, too, better than all the right backs I can recall. He had more assists than all the right backs and got a champions league trophy for it. The English man is just 20 years old and is a great prospect. Many Liverpool players did well last season, Arnold is one of them.

Van Dijk - Center back

This can't be argued at all. Van Dijk will definitely be on the list. He is simply the best defender this year. Champions league isn't the only tournament he did well, he was also a big contribution to his national team in the concluded Nations league where he got a silver medal.

De Ligt - Center back

Here is another Dutch player that should be there. He was talked about greatly this year and he's one of the best players in Ajax. He just completed a signing to Juventus and was included in the 10 man FIFA world best list. It's no doubt he will partner with Van Dijk as the center backs in the FIFpro world XI.

Andrew Robertson - Left back

He was just like Arnold last season. Both of them had many assists and were a big contribution to Liverpool's achievements. They did better than other left and right backs in the world. They might not be included in the list, but in my opinion, they were the best this year.

Frankie De Jong - Midfield

I'm not listing him because he should be there. I listed him because I know they will list him since he is already in FIFA world best nominees. He was the best player in Dutch league last season and also Ajax best player. Also, many midfielders weren't that superb this year, and De Jong's name was all over the place.

Bernardo Silva - Midfield

This man was superb for both club and country. He was the best in the Nations league tournament Portugal won and one of the best players in Manchester City. He won 5 trophies this year alone and deserves a spot here.

Sadio Mane - Midfield/Forward

I believe a player who isn't a midfielder will be placed in the midfield to complete the list. If it's not Messi, then it will be Mane. The Senegalese didn't just did well in the champions league and EPL, he also got to the final in the just concluded AFCON.

Cristiano Ronaldo - Forward

There is no doubt he will be listed. He was the best player in Seria A and one of the greatest players last season. He is in the FIFA world best 10 man nominees and also a prospect to win it.

Lionel Messi - Forward

Well, the highest goal scorer in Europe will definitely be in it. He was named the best player in Laliga and scored the most goals in this year's champions league.

Kylian Mbappe

No striker came close this year in terms of goals. Goals determines how good a striker is and Mbappe has the qualities. He is next to Messi based on number of goals scored in Europe this year.
