Shantakumar Sreesanth was banished from cricket for a lifetime in the IPL spot-fixing. On September 2013, the BCCI banned three cricketers, Rajasthan and Chavan and Ajit Chandila, from Rajasthan for life. Although the BCCI has appealed to the court more than once, the BCCI has not shown a soft attitude. Note that Sreesanth has spent Six years in exile for this fixing offense.

The Supreme Court considered the order of the Indian Cricket Board's Disciplinary Committee on August 15 this month. Board's Ombudsman DK Jain told that Sreesanth will be sentenced on September 13, 2013. In that case, the punishment will be up to September 13, 2020. After that, Sreesanth will play in all Tests for the national team, playing 27 Tests, 53 ODIs and 10 Twenty20 matches.

However, it would be impossible for the national team to be the winner of the 2011 World Cup.
