One Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, was upset with the penalty-taking rule at the Red Devils club following the failure of Paul Pogba to score from the spot.

Starting the English League with a landslide victory over Chelsea, MU then only won a draw when facing Wolverhampton Wanderers. MU has the opportunity to take the lead, but the success of Rui Patricio dismissed Pogba's penalty kick to keep the score 1-1.

The spotlight returned to Pogba. After the news of the transfer somewhat died down, the failure of the penalty makes many question Manchester United's decision in determining the executioner's kick from the point of 11 meters.

Neville became one of the people who criticized the rules about the penalty taker who is uncertain, between Pogba, Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial or Daniel James. Neville also considered the decision on the field between players could not be justified at MU. Cameraman caught the moment when Rashford and Pogba discussed before the penalty kick was taken.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer acknowledged that Pogba and Rashford were two MU penalty executors. MU manager admitted that he did not mind the discussion between players in the field to become a penalty taker.

Before failing to convert a penalty opportunity in the match against Wolverhampton, last season Pogba also failed to fulfill his duties as executioner when Manchester United faced Burnley, Everton, and Southampton. Opta noted Pogba as the player who most often failed to score with 12 kicks in the last two seasons in the Premier League.
