Khris Middleton hit 23 markers for the Bucks, taking a 76-58 lead at halftime before the Celtics trailed 81-87 in the final 5:16 minutes of the third period.

A 19-6 attack dropped Milwaukee to a 127-123 advantage with 38 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

Kemba Walker scored a game-high 40 points to lead Boston, playing without Jaylen Brown who had a sprained right thumb in their previous 13-point loss to the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday.

In Los Angeles, Kawhi Leonard posted 32 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Montrezl Harrell contributed 21 markers to lead the Clippers to a 122-95 win over the Orlando Magic.

Nikola Vucevic led the Magic with 22 points followed by Aaron Gordon's 20 markers.

Orlando failed to overturn the Los Angeles Lakers' nine-game winning streak on Wednesday.

In San Francisco, Malik Beasley hit two free throws in the final 8.9 seconds of overtime to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 134-131 dip with the Golden State Warriors.

The Nuggets claimed Beasley's 27 points, the Warriors' 10th straight loss.

Will Barton posted a season-high 31 points for Denver's fifth win in the last six games.
