Lady Altas defeated the Cardinals

The University of Perpetual Help System Dalta went first into the needle before dropping a 20-25, 24-26, 25-18, 25-12, 15-6 come-from-behind win over Mapua University yesterday in NCAA Season 95 women's volleyball tournament at The Arena in San Juan City.

Season 94 runner-up Lady Altas relied on her deep experience to hold off Lady Cardinals especially in crucial moments to take the third win to four points and secure the fourth spot.

Four Perpetual Help members scored in double digits led by veteran wing spiker Bianca Tripoli with 20 markers - all from the attack line.

Jhona Rosal contributed 15 points and 13 digs while Shrya Umandal collected 14 points in four blocks.

Second stringer Dana Persa helped carve 13 points for the Lady Altas.

The Lady Cardinals roll with 1-2 cards.

In the first game, San Beda University got off to a slow start to hold off Colegio de San Juan de Letran, 24-26, 25-19, 25-18, 25-17, and rejoin the No. 2 spots.

Veteran outside hitter Cesca Racraquin re-ignited 22 points from 17 attacks, two blocks and three aces with seven excellent receptions to lead the Lady Red Spikers to a third straight win.

Nieza Viray again supported 12 markers as well as Kimberly Grace Manzano with nine points while Season 94 Rookie of the Year Lynne Matias recorded 22 excellent sets.
