The Filipina skateboarding champion Margielyn Didal has a higher chance to enter the 2020 Tokyo Olympics after finishing fifth in the 2019 Street League Skateboarding World Tour held in Los Angeles.

She finished with 21.2 points behind Brazil's former world champion Letecia Bufoni who scored 21 points.

The 11-year-old Rayssa Leal of Brazil won 23.3 points. It is considered to be the highest score ever scored by a Filipino in such a prestigious tournament.

Didal is very grateful for this remarkable achievement in his career.

Didal was named gold medalist at the 2018 Asian Games and also participated in the X Games Minneapolis 2018.

Cebu’s very own skater, hopefully she can bring home a gold medal for Philippines. The race for Philippines’ first gold medal is still up and running. Go for gold! #LabanPilipinas
