Marquez wins his 6th race of MotoGP season

Honda's best on the planet Marc Marquez won the downpour influenced Czech MotoGP in Brno, his 6th triumph of the period, and turned out to be just the fourth rider to accomplish 50 head class triumphs.

Marquez, who equalled Australian Mick Doohan's record of 58 top-class shaft positions on Saturday, completed in front of Ducati's Italian Andrea Dovizioso and Jack Miller of the non-works Pramac Ducati group.

The other three riders to accomplish in any event 50 head class wins are Valentino Rossi (89), Giacomo Agostini (68) and Doohan (54).

Spaniard Marquez now drives the MotoGP title with 210, 63 in front of second-set Dovizioso (147) while Danilo Petrucci, who completed eighth in Brno, is third (129).
