Simona Halep Won 2019 Wimbledon Singles

Congratulation to Simona Halep for winning the Wimbledon title for 2019!! It was first time in the history that a Romanian won the Wimbledon Championship at 6-2, 6-2 beating Serena Williams whom is an American.

A little background about Simona Halep, she is a professional tennis player from Romania. Was ranked World Number 1 in singles twice from 2017 - 2019. So far, she had won 2 Grand Slam titles at the 2018 French Open and this year Wimbledon Championships. She is only 28 years old, young and talented tennis player!

Steemians do you watch any sports? Yes I do but not as often because I do not own any Television therefore I watch on my computers. How do you watch your sports game?

I used to play tennis, volleyball, hockey in highschool however, I didn't pursue further but didn't means that I didn't miss it. Sometimes when I have free time, I will watch the competition. Although watching from my screen, I still can feel the tension, the stress of the athlete and the supports from the crowds. That how my sports interests started.

Am feeling glad that steem blockchain has a niche to write about sports! Yeah!
