Can Hazard Stand Up and Take Real Out of A Downward Spiral??

You can imagine if Mbappe ,Neymar or Icardi were playing against Real the other night. It would of been more than 3-0. Real Madrid were blessed to lose by only 3. Hazard was anonymous on the left side of attack and the only player that really stood up to the plate was the player that Zidane was trying to get rid of. Gareth Bale was Madrid's best player by far. It really tells you something about how toothless the team are when their most experienced outcast played a stormer. 79 minutes will give Bale plenty if energy fir the golf in the morning. The best disallowed goal I have seen also.

Hazard has become the player you give the ball to when you need something to happen. But he has not had enough training or game time for the club to get the players to realise that he is just below Ronaldo and Messi in the worlds best player ranks. Rio Ferdinand said something interesting at half time. Eden may have mis-timed his move to Madrid. The team is aging and the right players did not come in during the summer. The centre back Militao looked like this match was way above his grade. Varane looked off the pace as well. They were in dire need of their captain Ramos that one shareholder said "looks like a Norwegian Tourist" at the clubs AGM. Ramos is now a media star after doing a Kardasian like reality TV show of his daily life. I watched it. Nothing was revealed other than I know he lives in a beautiful house plus he is alot more humble than he looks on the pitch. The camera crew was following him around the time he has a bust up with club president Perez after the PSG game last year but alas nothing was revealed in the documentary.

So all is not happy in Madrid. The manager who has never been knocked out of a champions league yet is in big trouble if he cannot turn the clubs woes around. Some say he left the first time because he knew the club was on a downhill spiral. He has come back to save the club but I do think Zidane possesses that quality. He needs money and lots of it and he is like a dog with a bone trying to bring Paul Pogba to the club. Some people especially in Manchester think Zidane is mad to go after a player that has underachieved at Manchester. One United supporters club said they would wrap a ribbon around him and wave him goodbye not believing their luck that someone would pay more than 20 million for the Frenchman.
It is now up to the most senior players at the club to come together and realise what firepower they have at their disposal. Hazard,Bale and Benzema is some front line. They just now have to get the supply lines set up. This may be a bigger problem. Whose idea was it to let Ronaldo go again?? What were they thinking??

If the team isn't built around Hazard, there is no way I he'll ever play his best, look well you'll understand this really. THIS is brilliantly written

I was about to make a post almost the same as the last two questions in your posts.

For me personally, I see Hazard as a player that completes the line up not the player you can rely on. If everyone around him plays good football, he'll also become a monster. That's my observation.

Right now, I see that the club lacked the spirit. They had the right players but morally low right now. I think also that Ronaldo's hungry for glory touched his comrades that's why they played better last time.

That was only his 2nd game and 1st start for Real . Hazard will be alright. La Liga is generally easier to play in than the PL particularly for a highly technical player like Hazard and say what you want about Madrid right now, they have better players than Chelsea had when Hazard was there.

I'm more concerned about Zidane who tactically has no idea what he's doing. Madrid have no plan or idea going forward and are rubbish at the back. I don't see things getting better for them when they face top level opposition under that manager.

I guess pressure will be on this guy but I believe he is a utility player and with time he will prove himself and I trust his ability to influence the Madrid team

I watched the first half and fell asleep after the first goal.
Real is like on training camp.
No real good set of attacks and hold PSG.
Benzema, hum !
I am not sure what to say for Zidane cause this start will not get him too far.
So many big players were missing throughout the field.
Modric, Marcelo, Ramos, not sure if they will make a diference but the front line
did not scare PSG at all.
Bale was there but he was not persuasive as always.
Hazard tried but Real needs a loud mouth like CR7
to get them going.
Another lost in UEFA, we will know what happen soon.
