Sportstalk First Fantasy Premier League taking Entries.

It is that time of year again everyone where we pick our fantasy football team for the start of the English premier league. Yep the real football! I have made a little mini league for all you great Sporttalkians that would like to add a bit of interest to this years premier league. So most of you know what to do at this stage but I will go through the rules anyway for anyone interested.
So in summary the premier league do a fantasy football competition every year. You have 100 million to spend on a team of 15 players. 11 will play each week. 4 will be on the bench. If a player gets injured then you can make a substitute like in real life. You can appoint a captain for double points. You cannot pick more than two players from a team. Yep, there goes the whole plan to pick Man City ruined but we all know that would come to more than 100 million anyway. So points are rewarded for the players performance every week. Strikers are rewarded for goals scored and assists and goalkeepers and defenders are rewarded for clean sheets. This is the basic explanation. For football nerds this is mecca.
If you come first you stand to win a couple of million pounds.not sure of total prize as I have never won it (yet). If you win the team of the week you can win 50k. Now most of the football fans on sportstalk will do mini leagues with their friends. So I have went off and hit a few buttons to create our own mini league.
So there are a couple of ways to go to the site to make your dream team. You can download the premier league app or click the link here. Click on the fantasy tab to make a draft of your team. Once you have your team made and you are confident that you will at least come in the top 10 then you can enter the Sportstalk mini league. You will be asked to enter the private league code.

Creating your team could take 10 minutes or it could take you 3 weeks after scouring the internet looking for player stats and consulting some academy scouts in various clubs but that's the fun in it.

So the mini league is set up. All you have to do now is enter and I will post regular updates. The prize you ask. Well the contest is going on for the next year but there will be a prize at the end of it. But why would I give money to myself if my team are obviously red hot favourites. 😉😜. We will start with 200 SBI to the winner. But I will throw in some sports also. We will see over the next couple of weeks how sports fairs on the old exchanges to come up with a definite number but if any of the Sportstalks creators want to sponsor a prize then it would be very grateful.
