Broncos Pre Season Game 2 thoughts.

The official NFL pre-season starts today but it’s gonna be game #2 for the Denver Broncos because of the Hall of Fame game they were invited to play in. Fans are excited to at least get a good look at out New QB Joe Flacco for a few plays and see some more of the players we have put on our defense.

For me the #1 thing I will be wanting to see is if Dre’Mont Jones, a rookie defense lineman can match the type of performance he had last week because it was dominant and obvious the impact he had on the game. Many could argue that without his two big plays last week, the Broncos would have lost and many questions arise in the press about this season. Jones looks like a beast and if he actually is......this defense should be gangster.

I have little doubt Drew Lock is capable of making some huge plays in Denver. His arm talent is spectacular but last week he missed three big throws that must be made in a professional football game. The throws were aggressive and just 2 feet form being huge plays but the fact is we didn’t make those plays. Lock gets a pass from me because it was his first game and lots of veteran QBs have missed those same throws in week 10 of the season.

Fans are antsy here, we need a young QB to emerge badly in Denver. I still think Lock is the real deal but I gotta admit he looked exactly like Paxton Lynch in his first game here and that’s not good.
