JOHN OBI MIKEL RETIRES FROM NATIONAL TEAM

The captain of the Nigerian national team, tue super Eagles of nigeria, John obi Mikel have announced his retirement from the national team just after the nations cup.

Mikel Obi who started with a bright future when he fetured at the under 17, went on to be the star in the under 23 world cup where he played along side lionel Messi, sergio Aguero, Taiye taiwo and many more.

He was seriously wanted by both Manchester United and Chelsea and ended up signing for Chelsea where he played with great players like the current Chelsea Manager Frank Lampard, John Terry, Michael Ballack, ivorian legend Dedier Drogba, Makalele even the great Recardo Cavalho and Michael Essien of ghana.

Mikel Obi has practically won almost all the most important medal in the world football, including for clubside and national team side incuding the Olympic medal, Uefa Champions League, African nations cup and Uefa European League. Mikel obi is no doubt the most decorated nigerian footballer of all time and he is the pride of nigerian football.
