Black caps hungry after hefty defeat in Perth

Lovers of cricket will be happy at this time of year with a feast of games in the coming weeks. Of particular interest to this kiwi is the upcoming test match starting on boxing day between Australia and New Zealand. Australia will be bursting with condifence, while the black caps will be out for redemtion.

After the sad injury of Lockie Ferguson on debut the kiwis will see the return of spearhead Trent Boult which will strengthen their attack. Also (finally) Jeet Raval has been dropped and replaced by Tom Blundell - with limited international experience it will be interesting to see how he performs. Blundell is not traditionally an opener and I am surprised they havent shuffled the line up and put someone opening with more experience.

The Black Caps have potential to beat Australia (in Australia) for the first time in many years. However, for this to happen their big guns all need to fire - Williamson, Taylor, Boult and Southee!

Interestingly I read today that the bushfires in Australia have the potential to delay the final test match in Sydney in a couple of weeks.. will have to keep an eye on this to see what eventuates.
