Discovery - My Actifit Report Card: February 6 2020
A nice day today, I took a decent walk and went a way I have never gone since I moved into my new neighborhood. I have lived in the area my whole life so it's fascinating to walk through a small section of the area that I'm 99 percent sure I've never stepped foot in. Growing up I often drove very close by this area but there was never a need to venture in this exact direction. Who knew there was a bunch of houses over this way! There was some unexpectedly nice views as well, overlooking the town I grew up in basically. It's a funny and odd feeling thinking about this little pocket of the town. People from here surely find it normal, this view and neighborhood. To me it's all new. It's all an odd feeling a bit, like I'm in the Twilight zone. Maybe it's arrogance but a subconscious part of me always assumed I was pretty much close to an expert of my area and it's locations. Turns out there are areas hidden in my very own home town I had no idea about.
There's a dark circle in the skies of my photos but it's just my stinkin camera. Apparently my camera is slightly messed up. Oh well, life's annoying sometimes LOL.
This little discovery makes me think about our own world and perhaps what has or has not been discovered. I wonder if perhaps man assumes everything on earth has been discovered until one day someone decides to look around again....
