Man City VS Spurs

Fresh from day 1 victories, these two sides face off, in what promises to be an exciting match for us this week. With Kane having found the next twice in the last match and Eriksen enjoying one of his best moments, that's not to add the fact that Sterling scored a hat-trick in the opening day. It's definitely going to be a cracker! You'd don't want to miss the action.

POSSIBLE LINEUP

MANCHESTER CITY: Ederson; Walker, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko; Rodri, Bernardo Silva, De Bruyne; Mahrez, Sterling, Aguero.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR: Lloris; Walker-Peters, Alderweireld, Sanchez, Rose; Winks, Ndombele, Sissoko, Eriksen; Lucas, Kane

Ahead of the match, let's take a look at some facts;

Opta stats

  • Manchester City has won the last four games against Tottenham Hotspur, but they've never won five consecutive games against them, in their 140th meeting.

  • Tottenham has taken only four points, from nine of their last games against the Citizens (W1 D1 L7)

  • Manchester City haven't lost their opening home match since 1989-90, they've gone 24 opening matches unbeaten (W16 D8 L0)

  • When conceding more than one goal, the Citizens have lost their last six Premier League matches, however when conceding not more than one goal, they are unbeaten in 83 Premier League matches, since their 0-1 loss at Liverpool in December 2016.

  • Spurs had more shots on Matchday 1 (31) than any other Premier League side. Christian Eriksen was involved in 18 of those efforts.

  • Sergio Aguero is one goal short on joint third for the most goals scored at a specific stadium. He's currently on 96 goals at the Etihad Stadium, and Alan Shearer scored 97 at St. James' Park.

  • Hat-trick hero Raheem Sterling, has been directly involved in six goals in his last six games against Spurs in all competition (5 goals, 1 assist), including scoring four in his last three games against them at the Etihad.

  • Kane ended his over 1,000 minutes goal drought in the month of August, with his brace against Aston Villa.

So with all of these facts who will you be placing your bets on?
