Apr. 2, 20: AutomaticWin, Errands, Games, and Crashing

Up at five again and another two hours short on sleep. 😢 Got my usual morning routine done fairly early and then got a call from my Mom.

She needed some errands run: get some cash from the bank by cashing a check, pick up a prescription from the pharmacy, and grab a few essentials from the grocery store.

I went down to the bank, but they are shut down, so no cash for you! The pharmacy was alright...they just have the store blocked off so you have to stay by the door and everyone has masks and gloves on.

The grocery store was interesting as well. They’re only allowing fifteen people in at a time, so I stood outside in the parking lot (like ten feet away from anyone) and waited for quite a while. They didn’t have the fruit she wanted, but I grabbed another bad instead (shelves were pretty bare).

Already had around six thousand steps by nine o’clock, so I figured it wouldn’t be a problem to score the #AutomaticWin, which I did by more than a thousand steps! 🤩

I ran down to the store for us earlier and snapped my sky photo just as the Sun was coming up.

Beautiful day out. Could do with a couple more degrees warmer, but clear blue and sunshine is plenty. 😁

Still kind of uncertain what to do with my SE tokens. For now, I’m not dumping anything in case the HE tokens are airdropped from a SE snapshot, but I have the intention to go over to Hive completely and maybe abandon SE/HE altogether.

Got an email that all summer classes will be held online this year. I wrote to the department chair to see if I have any classes, but she was still redoing the schedule, so I don’t know. She said fall, for sure, but summer is up in the air. Might have to join the ranks of the other 6.5 million US citizens filing for unemployment insurance. 😨

My tummy really didn’t feel very happy all day, and I just felt absolutely drained, so in the afternoon I crashed for a couple hours nap.

@wenchebakken made some French toast to use up some dried out bread we had left, I played a bit of Splinterlands and then crashed again.

It seems that something’s up with Steemconnect I guess. Not sure if it’s that or what. I log in to Holybread, but I get this:

I tried to contact them through their discord, but the only response I got was other people having the same problem.

Today my Splinterlands quest was Fire splinter. Sorta’ disappointed with the last two days of playing, but at least I did move up in the ranks a little.
