Apr. 8, 20: Walking, Working on a BIG Project, and Games

Went to bed pretty late last night, so slept all the way until six! Up and did the usual morning routine.

After nearly five days (and a day and a half of hearing nothing), one of the Ionomy reps was a bit of a dick to me over on Discord, so I’ve lost my interest in their tokens and will stick with Bittrex.

I pulled all the Hive I had off the exchange and powered it up along with the extra 300 I had been saving to send over for the next airdrop.

Didn’t really accomplish too much again otherwise today. Been doing a lot of research into the Hive code. In particular, I didn’t know that as of HF14 escrow functionality has been built into the chain!

Trying to figure out how to leverage it to perhaps make on chain atomic swaps possible, with the goal to make drag-and-drop tokens/smart contracts...dunno, at every turn I end up hitting a trust wall or vulnerability (some entity that must be trusted to act and/or can be shut down). But can you image? Fast, free, trustless trading?! Could be a beautiful utopia.

Spent most of the rest of the day playing Fable on the Xbox. I did feel the need to get off my ass, though, and went for a proper walk.

The wind made it a bit cooler than the last couple of days, but not bad. I kept the scarf on, but the hat came off. 😄

Not a whole lot happening worth taking a picture of. I pretty much just stuck to the road.

In the evening I had some leftover pork for dinner and we watched a little Stargate on TV.

Still no Holybread access. 😢😭 I would have thought that if it was a connect issue, they would have made the change to the API call (or fixed whatever is throwing the error), but they haven’t. I have no idea what my rank is at this point. Probably fallen close to the bottom.

Today my Splinterlands quest was three wins without neutral monsters. I didn’t really feel like playing, and got lucky in that I was able to get the quest done in only four battles!

On the downside, though I finished in Diamond III, I haven’t made any progress with only one week left in the season. DEC rewards were awful today, but I did score a few cards.
