June 30, 20: Putzing, Xbox, and Games
Well, made it all the way to six thirty today and actually a full eight hours for once (well, one minute short, but I’m counting it anyway).
Nothing of note happening during the usual morning rigamorol, still low volumes and no volitility in the Bitcoin market...super boring and no trading to do.
Other than that watched some YouTube, did some curation, the same ol’ same ol’.
Not sure what my deal was, it was really nice outside.
I just didn’t feel like going out, and, naughty naughty, I didn’t. Unfortunately, that means no maps or pics. Super lame. 😒
Didn’t really accomplish all that much either. Spent the afternoon out in the garage stripping down more wire...getting nearer to the end, I mean, it HAS to end at some point, eh?
I did a couple long pieces from start to finish. Crazy how different each piece is...these the rubber was stuck to the conductor, so I couldn’t slide it off nicely. Instead it sort of crumbled if I broke it apart in small inch long pieces and I could slide those off.
I took the pieces out of the HCl that I left probably too long, they had started to deteriorate a little in the places where the wire was bent. I got those pieces cleaned up and put some more pieces in, but I think the HCl might be toast, not really many bubbles forming, just discoloration.
Working out in the garage at least got me up over the ten thousand steps per day mark and so even though I didn’t get a proper walk in, the streak continues! 😃
It’s exam week this week, and after spending so much time dealing with those videos, we didn’t meet for our Calculus QA session this week. Got to play a bit instead.
I played some more Torchlight on the Xbox for a while in the evening and then we watched more of The Politician. It’s actually a really good show...got some sharp criticisms of the system we have, particularly how politicians (at least successful ones) are essentially sociopaths.
I did try and think a little about my Omnipotence proof and got thinking about “potential” again and how it’s a false/artificial construct. That gets to be quite a logical quagmire...need my muse to step in with some inspiration.
No robbery in my dCity, but I’m kind of losing interest in it, to be honest. Getting token income is cool in the sense that I could sell them off and make some HIVE, but I don’t really ever seem to take much profit from anything...always buy buy buy.
Got all my Holybread tasks done again today. Really hoping they come up with a voting bot or something, cause it’s not really intrinsically a fun game, I mean, I keep looking for a reason to play.
Despite spending 14 million gold on life and damage potions, I haven’t moved up at all and have just keep falling. What a waste of time!
For my Splinterlands quest today I had three wins without neutral monsters. Got it done super quick, but that leaves me a little short on DEC for potions this time.
Completed the quest in Diamond III with a potion. Got a few cards and some DEC, but nothing amazing:
