Holistic Education Through Physical Education In Singapore Schools

Physical Education (PE) lessons are not simply about sports and games but learning about developing fitness, health, social and mental well-being.

In my school, PE teachers are also Health Education teachers. They would have indoor lessons to discuss about food, physical changes for puberty and other health issues besides taking them outdoor for their physical education.

Cultivating the love for physical activities and mental health should start from young and it is a good time to nurture them from all levels of schools.

Sports for life is a wonderful vision. When Singaporeans can still healthy, they can enjoy the fullest of their lives.
