As always, it is another amazing day again, really exciting as the champions league resumes today. It always feels nice to be back again with another champions league matchday preview as there are lots of exciting fixtures coming up next. UCL matchday 4 of the group stage games kicks off tonight and as always and like I said in my previous post, the tension and excitements keeps building up as we approach the final fixtures of the group stage. There are quite a number of matches that will take most of the attention tonight especially the Dortmund vs Inter Milan game and the Chelsea vs Ajax match and also a lot of interesting fixtures as well.

Liverpool vs Genk is an interesting fixture and one of the many fixtures that will be kicking off later today. Looking at the Group E table, this is a must win game for Liverpool if they want to make their chances of taking the number 1 spot on the table. It is a great chance for Liverpool considering the fact that Napoli will be facing a tough game against Salzburg. Regardless of what happens in the Napoli vs Red Bull Salzburg fixture, Liverpool are expected to beat Genk comfortably at home. Genk haven’t won any game yet in the group, making their chances to get any result at Anfield to be very slim. Nonetheless, Genk want to have a taste of victory before elimination from the group and who know… They might do the unexpected against Liverpool at Anfield.

It is going to be a fun champions league night as always at Anfield, even though there isn’t any much buzz going on for this game since it is basically a match between two teams at the opposite end of a pole in terms of results, we all know how champions league nights look like at Anfield. With that aside, we are expecting a fun game. A win in this game could see Liverpool shoot past Napoli if Napoli fails to get 3 points tonight.
