The Azkals secured their first win over Malaysia with a score of 1-0 in the Southeast Asian Games.

Earlier in the game, the Azkals had shown their aggressiveness in the game held at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

With Stephan Schrock scoring the goal in 72 minutes.

The Azkals have condemned Malaysia's aggression by Pinoy goal keeper Anthony Pinthus.

The Azkals Under-22 are recovering in Wednesday's defeat to Myanmar where they still have a chance for the semifinals.

The Azkals will face Timor Leste next December 4 at Binan Stadium in Laguna.
