Alia Atkinson struck gold in the 50 meter breaststroke last Sunday in Tokyo at the FINA swimming World Cup. Alia has won numerous gold medals before so she isn’t new to winning big. She is also the world record holder for this event. Her victory clocked 30:35 seconds..... 😯 wow that is impressive. She is definitely someone to watch out for at the 2020 Olympics that will be held in Tokyo. The stadiums will be hot ( though AC-Ed) but Alia will stay cool in the pool.

Haven’t heard of Alia Atkinson? Well get used to the name as I believe she will be making waves 🌊

Me too, a lot of the times the news of women doing well in sports isn’t as praised as the men.
