As a result of the Super Eagles back-to-back win against Benin and Lesotho, the Super Egles have moved four places up. In the latest FIFA ranking this November, Nigeria has moved to 31st position.

The Super Eagles in October dropped a place on the list but recovered after their qualifying campaign for the 2021 African Cup of Nations with a victory against Benin and Lesotho on the 13th and 17th November, respectively.

The Genort Rohr's side defeated their West African neighbours Benin republic 2-1 in Uyo and moved to Maseru to beat Lesotho 4-2 in their home front.

So far, Nigeria has gathered a total of 1493 points this month, making them rank as the third-best team in Africa behind Senegal and Tunisia.

Algeria is fourth on the list, while Morocco, Ghana, Egypt, Cameroun, Mali, and DR Congo are among the top ten teams in the continent.
The next FIFA ranking would be released on December 19.

Interesting ranking, its kind of surprising how Nigeria ranks above the current African Champions Algeria.
