Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2019/2020 Season Kickstarts Today

Hurray, football lovers across Nigeria are having a fun moment even as I pen this blog with the kickstart of the 2019/2020 Season of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The NPFL 2019/2020 begins with 20 teams on track with eight (8) matches on Day 1 of the season.

Below was the NPFL Match Day 1 Fixtures today November 3, 2019:

• Abia Warriors versus Katsina United @ Township Stadium
• Delta Force FC versus Akwa Starlets @ Stephen Keshi Stadium-
• Enyimba FC versus Nassarawa United (Postponed)
• IFUB FC versus Infeanyi Ubah @ Adamawa United Stadium
• Heartland FC versus FC-MFM @ Okigwe Township Stadium
• Kano Pillars versus Rivers United @ Sani Abacha Stadium
• Plateau United versus Lobi Stars @Jos New Stadium
• Enugu Rangers Int'l versus Sunshine Stars (Postponed)

Postponed matches are due to Enyimba FC and Enugu Rangers involvement in CAF COnfederation Cup round playoff.

Meanwhile, am glad to announce that Akwa Starlets, my home team won with 2: 1 against Delta Force.
