The world cup rugby is just eight days away.
The first Rugby World Cup, held in 1987, has been held every four years since then with the participation of teams leading the Rugby Series.
Sixteen countries participated in the first Rugby World Cup, and by 1999 the number of countries participating in the World Cup had grown to 20.
This is the 9th Rugby World Cup, New Zealand has won three Rugby World Cups and Australia and South Africa have won it twice.
England won their inaugural Rugby World Cup in 2003.
The most frequent Rugby World Cup team is the New Zealand team.

This year's Rugby World Cup will be held in Japan and this is the first time an Asian country will host a Rugby World Cup.
The Rugby World Cup, which begins on September 20, will be held in 12 stadiums until November 2.
