West Indies Squad Named

The West Indies squad for the upcoming one-day and Twenty20 tournaments with Afghanistan has been named.
Interestingly, the squad has been called up for the best players in the Caribbean Premier League.
Brandon King and Hayden Walsh have been named in the ODI squad headed by Kiran Pollard.
That was because of their performances in the Caribbean Premier League.The duo have won the Caribbean Premier League title and the highest wicket-taker in the Caribbean.
However, it is notable that Chris Gayle and Carlos Brathwaite have not been named in the squad.
Accordingly, the Twenty20 series between Afghanistan and West Indies will begin on November 5 and the ODI series will be held on November 13.
