Giannis Antetokounmpo said "I'm never gonna say that i'm better than James Harden but, the trophy's in my house." For me,it could've gone either way. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a great year statistically and he lead his team to the best record in the league. That definitely deserved Most Valuable Player but we've never seen a guy average 36-7 before and this is a rediculous offensive production. Infact Giannis Antetokounmpo made Khris Middleton an All-star and his teammates better. He also led the Milwaukee Bucks offensively and defensively and helped them become the best team in the regular season. Team effort and team chemistry Giannis has it. James Harden got the scoring title, that's all he deserves. He has an Most Valuable Player award because he was most valuable to his team that season. This past year Giannis Antetokounmpo has done it all on both sides of the court. People never look at Giannis Antetokounmpo finishing runner up in Defensive Player of the Year back to back seasons, that's where Giannis also gets an edge. Giannis played less minutes and had a higher per than James Harden. More efficient shot selection and defensive win shares, Giannis affected the game on both ends of the court in a way James Harden never could because of his size. There's a reason the Bucks had the biggest point differential in the league and yes the bench is part of that, but when your starters play so good you can bench them by the end of third quarter on a regular basis. Your thoughts?
