NBA: Brooklyn Nets Vs Philadelphia 76ers
The visiting Philadelphia 76ers beat the Brooklyn Nets in a high-scoring bame to 117-111. Ben Simmons had one of his best games of his career as he led the Philadelphia 76ers with 34 points, 12 rebounds, 12 assists, 5 steals and 2 blockshots in the game. Al Horford scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists while Tobias Harris and Josh Richardson both scored 15 points for the team victory. Meanwhile the Brooklyn Nets star Spencer Dinwiddie scored 22 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists. Caris Lavert added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists while Nicolas Claxton contributed 15 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists in the losing effort. This loss prove that Brooklyn Nets can't win without their best player Kyrie Irving. When Kyrie Irving is healthy he's gonna come back and own thise other teams. He is an elite and adorable player who can take over a game at anytime. And Philadelphia 76ers need to choose between Joel Embiid or Ben Simmons because when they played together it hurts both their game and they are in win-now mode. Hence why they signed Tobias Harris and Al Horford to large contracts. Personally i'd keep Ben Simmons over Joel Embiid because Joel Embiid can't stay healthy. Ben Simmons plus shooters is better than Joel Embiid plus shooters. Ben Simmons thrived last year because of JJ Redick and Jimmy "Buckets" Butler being good shooters. Joel Embiid needs to have a point guard that is a great three-point shooter to thrive like Damian Lillard, Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Kemba Walker or Kyle Lowry. Anyways the Philadelphia 76ers improve their record to 29-16 while the Brooklyn Nets fall to 18-24 on the season.
