NBA: Minnesota Timberwolves Vs Denver Nuggets
The Denver Nuggets defeated the home team Minnesota Timberwolves in a score of 107-100. The rising rookie star Michael Porter Jr. scored a team-high with 20 points, 4 assists and a career-high of 14 rebounds. Jerami Grant scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists while Nikola Jokic added 17 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Meanwhile Karl-Anthony Towns led the Minnesota Timberwolves with 28 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists. Josh Okogie added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 1 assist while Andrew Wiggins contributed 15 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists in the losing effort. For me, it's time to start Michael Porter Jr. in the starting lineup because the Denver Nuggets are a better team when he is on the floor, his defense gets better every game. In the previous game, he was the best all around player on the court. He looks like he's willing to learn and work hard on the defensive end. Some of the mistakes he has made, he has made up with effort and lengthy athleticism. I really like his game so far. The Denver Nuggets are going to need his skillset in the playoffs. The best has yet to come and i'm very excited to watch him continue to grow and he will be a force to reckon with, once he reaches his full potential. Anyways, the Denver Nuggets improve their record to 30-13 while the Minnesota Timberwolves fall to 15-28 on the season.
