The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the home team New York Knicks in a very close game to 90-87. Ben Simmons led the Philadelphia 76ers with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Josh Richardson scored 18 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists while Tobias Harris added 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists for the team victory. Meanwhile the New York Knicks star Marcus Morris led the the team 20 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists. Julius Randle scored 14 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists while Reggie Bullock added 14 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists in the losing effort. The New York Knicks have a winning record when Julius Randle scores 20 points or more. He needs to be shooting twenty shots a game and when he has been aggressive scoring it has been a better team. In this game they played timid and slow that why they lost without purpose, it's like the team has no game plan and do not execute. They need to draft shooters plain and simple. No more drafting players that are athletic or something else like veteran players. Not so good of these players that do a little pit of everything but can't shoot and can't play defense. Whoever the team take in the lottery pick this year has to be able to shoot and fearless on the court. Honestly if this team was better at shooting freethrows they would be at least 15 wins instead of 11 wins. I hope the New York Knicks can get a true point guard that i'm looking for then we will see some structure in this team. Anyways, the Philadelphia 76ers improve their record to 28-16 while the New York Knicks fall to 11-32 on the season.
