The Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves in a final score of 117-104. Danilo Gallinari led the Oklahoma City Thunder with a game-high of 30 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander just had a 20 points, 20 rebounds and 10 assists. His first career triple-double and leading Oklahoma City Thunder into the playoff race while Steven Adams added 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists for the team victory. Meanwhile Naz Reid scored 20 points, 1 rebound and 1 assist. Robert Covington scored 18 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists while Shabazz Napier added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the losing effort. The Oklahoma City Thunder organization is really something, they should be on rebuilding mode yet they are ahead of their schedule. I've always thought they always get the one that has the most potential. They should keep Chris Paul and Steven Adams, build around this trio and with the amount of draft picks they have coming then it looks good for the team. Chris Paul is going to be a good veteran to have on your roster regardless of whether he's deserving of his current contract. Which he probably almost is at the moment. I hope the Oklahoma City Thunder management don't mess this one up. Anyways, the Oklahoma City Thunder improve to 23-17 while the Minnesota Timberwolves fall to 15-24 on the season.
