Bale may be on his way back to Madrid

A long transfer saga ended in October when Gareth Bale finally left Real Madrid in favor of Tottenham. The Welshman can be found at the London club until next summer, but several media outlets have previously written that Tottenham are trying to make the deal permanent.

However, it could end up with Bale returning to Real Madrid. According to Spanish media AS, Real Madrid still see Bale as an important part of the squad and they do not rule out that he will return next summer.

Gareth Bale has a contract with Real Madrid until 2022, but his career in the Spanish capital has run off the track, where it has not been much playing time in recent seasons. At Tottenham, he is rediscovering himself, having played three games and scored a goal in the Premier League.
