Chaos: Spanish big club fires coach and sports director resigns
Valencia has had a disappointing season where they are currently outside the European pitches and it has cost coach Albert Celades the job. The Spanish coach took over the management of Valencia back in September last year when the club fired Marcelino at that time.
However, The sports director Cesar Sanchez, according to several Spanish media, has even resigned. He should have done so in protest over the firing of Albert Celades.
Since 2014, when billionaire Peter Lim from Singapore bought the club, it is the sixth coach smoking at the gate, while it is also the sixth sports director to be replaced.
The club's assistant coach Voro Gonzalez has been in charge of the Valencia team for the rest of the season, which has Danish Daniel Wass on the team.
