Chelsea star infected with corona

German star Kai Havertz is not in Chelsea's squad for the team's clash in the Champions League against Rennes on Wednesday night.

But there is a pretty logical explanation for that. The Chelsea star has been infected with coronavirus, and he has therefore been sent into self-isolation.

The club revealed this on their official Twitter page;

"Frank Lampard has confirmed that Kai Havertz has tested positive for covid-19. As a consequence, the player has now been sent into self-isolation and will not be in the squad for the team's match in the Champions League against Rennes, "the English club wrote exactly on Twitter.

Kai Havertz had otherwise just started to deliver good performances for Chelsea, where so far it has turned into ten matches in the blue jersey as well as four goals and three assists.

In addition to Kai Havertz, Christian Pulisic is also out of the squad due to a minor injury, while goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has not recovered from his injury.
