The Spaniard came to Manchester in 2010 after the club had been bought by Arab Abu Dhabi Group, thus starting to upgrade the squad with big names. A staggering £600 Million was spent by Manchester City in the first year after the takeover of new players, including David Silva from Valencia.

The Spanish technician managed to win 4 Premier League titles with Manchester City, and was a hugely important player at the club throughout the decade. He managed to play a total of 436 matches for them, where he managed to 77 goals and 140 assists. No less than impressive, and enough to sign up as one of the all-time great legends of the Manchester club.

After 10 successful years at the club, Silva then returned to La Liga this summer, where he joined Real Sociedad. Here, however, he has had a hard time rediscovering the form that made him one of the best players in the Premier League. The club has otherwise got an approved start, where after 5 matches they are in 4th place.

Silva, who has turned 34, says he just has to return to the Spanish league again.

I have played four matches and have received two warnings. "I think I have a problem with the judges and should just turn to it again," Silva told The Times.

However, the Spaniard recalls that he was in a similar situation when he arrived at Manchester City 10 years ago.

I just came from the World Cup and barely reached pre-season. When I arrived I saw the football move so fast. Everything flew past me and there was no break. I felt overwhelmed at times. People were heard saying: The Spanish guy is not going to make it.

Here, 10 years later, there is probably no one who is in doubt about whether David Silva managed it in the Premier League or not. The little beast became one of the greatest in the history of the Premier League.
