Griezmann rejoins Atletico Madrid
Antoine Griezmann has never really found himself at ease at FC Barcelona, where he joined the club back in 2019. However, the stay seems to have come to an end, and instead Griezmann is on his way back to Atletico Madrid, as he was a big star at before his switch to Catalan.
It is the French media L'Equipe that reports that an agreement between Griezmann and Atletico should be finally in place after the rumors that have abounded in recent days that the French star was on his way back to his former club. Thus, the two parties are also reunited again.
Also the renowned transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano now reports that a deal should be in place between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. The journalist writes on Twitter, where he also writes that Barcelona will instead pick up Luuke de Jong in Sevilla.
Antoine Griezmann will only have a contract expiration with Barcelona in the summer of 2024, so it must be assumed that Atletico Madrid will have to pay a relatively large sum of money for the French star.
