The match between Cádiz and Valencia last Saturday was temporarily suspended when Juan Cala from Cádiz and Mouctar Diakhaby from Valencia came up and topped the middle of the pitch. The French Valencia player believed that Cala had spoken racistly towards him by calling him "black shit", which caused the Valencia players to leave the field.

The match was subsequently played finished, but since then La Liga has opened a case around incident to get to the bottom of it all. Therefore, both sound experts and mouth readers were brought in to clarify what had been said on the pitch. Conclusion on the investigation has been made public today and La Liga has found no evidence that Juan Cala should have said anything racist. They write that on their website.

According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, the mouth readers should have come to the conclusion that Cala should have said "shit", "let me be" and "excuse me, you must not be angry".
