Morata is undergoing a medical at Juventus

Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has recently been linked with a move to the Italian champions from Juventus. Now the Torino club confirm on their website that the Spanish striker is for medical check-ups.

Morata also played for Juventus in the period 2014-2016, where he won two Italian championships before going home to Spain and Real Madrid. The 27-year-old striker scored 27 goals in 93 games for Juventus during his time at the club.

The Argentine striker, Gonzalo Higuain, left Juventus last week in favor of American Inter Miami CF and therefore manager Andrea Pirlo was missing a new striker. The deal was to be a 1-year loan worth approx. £5million, with the possibility of a permanent transfer next summer.
