Jose Mourinho is in the process of planning how he will strengthen his Tottenham squad. Here he has opened his eyes to Carles Aleñá from FC Barcelona. Aleñá is 22 years old and plays in the central part of the pitch, but it has not been much playing time for the Spanish big club.

Carles Aleñá has featured in just 24 matches in La Liga for FC Barcelona, ​​where it has been a total of 841 minutes of play. Aleñá has also been loaned out to Real Betis last season to get more minutes in his legs, but now he may be on his way to England.

However, Mourinho is not interested in a loan and he will therefore ask Daniel Levy for extra funds to bring Carles Aleñá to Tottenham during the next transfer window in January.

Carles Aleñá is a product of La Masia and has been in the club since 2013. In 2018, he was promoted to the La Liga team, but has not had the expected success. Aleñá has a contract with FC Barcelona until the summer of 2022.
