The hype surrounding Jude Bellingham has been huge ever since he broke through in Birmingham, and since this summer switched to Borrusia Dortmund as the most expensive 17-year-old ever. It is on Tuesday that the changes in the English squad have taken place, and here space has thus been found for Bellingham, who can make his senior national team debut.

Bellingham were originally selected for the English U-21 national team, but due to the dismissals of Trent Alexander-Arnold and James Ward-Prowse, he has been selected.

England will play Ireland on 12 November and subsequently Belgium and Iceland in their Nations League group, which also includes Denmark. Should Bellingham get playing time in any of the matches, he will be the third youngest to represent the English national team. Only Theo Walcott and Wayne Rooney were younger when they made their debut for "Three Lions".
