The starting lineup of the Los Angeles Dodgers, which boasts the best of the Major League Baseball in the U.S., is faltering.

The Dodgers lost 0-1 to the San Francisco Giants in the 2019 Major League Baseball at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California.

Dodgers starter Tony Gonzoline struggled in the first inning alone, throwing 39 balls.

Gonzaleen gave up two hits and a walk in the top of the first inning, prompting a one-out bases-loaded crisis. In the loss crisis, Kevin Fila got a grounder to third base, but third baseman Mike Yastremsky dug home to give up a pre-empt

Gonzalez, who struck out two hits, four walks, and five strikeouts in four innings, failed to break the sluggish trend of the Dodgers' starters, who have been playing for the past two weeks, and lost two games (2 wins) in the season.

The Los Angeles Times said the Dodgers' starting lineup has been at the top of the Major League with 3.16 ERA and 1.07 WHIP. "But in the last 15 games since August 24, they've given up 43 earned runs in 702⁄3 innings with 5.48 ERA."

The Dodgers, which has won five games and lost five games in the past 10 games, saw a series of starts including ace Ryu Hyun-jin, Clayton Kershaw, and Walker Bochle.

Ryu suffered a slump for four consecutive games from the Atlanta Braves on April 18 to the Colorado Rockies on June 5.

In the recent game against Colorado on Friday, Ryu had six hits in 41⁄3 innings, four walks, five strikeouts, and three runs, and the Dodgers decided to skip Ryu's rotation once.

Ryu is not scheduled to play in an away game against the Baltimore Orioles on May 12, when he was likely to take the mound.

Clayton Kershaw has also been in a slump, having lost three consecutive games recently. In the game against San Francisco on Sunday (July 7), he lost five games in four innings, allowing seven hits, three walks, six strikeouts, and three runs.

Four innings are Kershaw's minimum individual innings this season. Kershaw also appeared to be excited, throwing his glove against the wall and kicking an ice box after coming into the dugout after the steel plate.

Bangler also struggled against Colorado on Thursday, allowing six runs in five innings.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said, "The team has been on the rise all season, but it hasn't been stable for the past two weeks. We have to overcome this," he stressed.
