Lampard and the mistake of Over Rotation

Chelsea has been a phenomena this season having exceeded all expectation so far withering ths storm and remaining in the top four so far after over a dozen of games. Starting from the first game against Manchester utd away where Chelsea were beaten after a good show. After that Chelsea have gone on a fine run winning six league games on a bounce and exceeding all expectation as they win with much flare and virtuso.

But in recent times the team has been saddlled with much fatigue and there comes a need for Lampard to freshen things up by resting some player after seeing his team relinquish a lead at Valencia to draw in the last champions league game.

With that in mind Lampard looked to rotate the squad a bit in the last game against Westham Utd but would we say he over did that bearing in mind that this was a London derby and the midweek game coming up was against Aston Villa who we would consider as a reasonable easier game.
One of the mistakes Lampard made was resting Ngolo Kante considering that he is just coming back into the team and the other guys have played most of the games in the season. Had Ngolo Kante been in the team he would have stopped the the build up to the goal by Cresswell by sniffing out the danger and stopping it.
Secondly one would wonder why he elected to go with Oliver Giroud upfront instead of Michy Batshuayi Considering that the latter is more mobile than the former. In all Giroud looked rusty and was not in the game until he was substituted.

Lampard has done well overall so far but his tactical naivity and inexperience are beginning to show but we all are in a learning curve.
