Allison set to miss Chelsea clash

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has provided an update on injury goalkeeper Alisson.

The Brazilian was forced off in the first half of Liverpool's 4-1 win over Norwich at Anfield with a calf injury.

Klopp has confirmed he will miss their UEFA Super Cup clash with Chelsea on Wednesday in Istanbul as they wait for further news on the extent of the damage.

The Reds will be back in Premier League action at Southampton next Saturday and will be hoping Alisson is fit to feature.

"It's a calf injury," Klopp said after the game.

"He felt as if something hit him from the back he won't be ready for Wednesday, I can say that already.
