Manchester United Finally Sign Maguire For World Record £85M
The news circulating over social media and almost all sports websites is that Manchester United have finally got the player they have chased for long, Harry Maguire.
The deal is worth £85M with 80M being paid upfront and the remaining 5M addons as reported by dailymail

This transfer make Maguire the most expensive defender of all time after breaking the previous record of £75M set by Virgil van Dijk
I really hope Maguire will outperform Virgil van Dijk who has really helped Liverpool whereby he helped them win the Champions League.

Now I am not saying Maguire should help United win the Champions League!!! It is impossible this season because Man United is not participating hehehe.
I am among the few Manchester United fans who think Maguire is/was overpriced!!!!
We as United fans now will demand a lot from our new signing and hope he fits into the team fast!!!
I sensed this deal going through after I reaf of Maguire calling Leicester on Monday telling them he was sick!!!
I see Lukaku pulling similar tricks and hope his deal to Juventus goes through and Dybala comes this side!!!

He's a good defender and a very big boy but £85 million ? I'm seriously not convinced. Would be interesting to see the package he is on! Far too much money these days :-(
