Inter Milan Launch New £73m bid for Romelu As Dybala Swap Deal Falls

In an interesting turn of events, persistent Inter Milan through coach Antonio Conte have launched a new £73M for Romelu Lukaku.

It has to be noted that Antonio Conte has been interested in Lukaku as player from his time at Chelsea!

Inter Milan were the first team to show interest in Lukaku before Juventus did a few weeks ago!!!

This last week has been awash with news of Lukaku's imminent move to Juventus.

The news of the move to Juventus was almost completed when Sarri reportedly told Dybala that he is not in his plans for this season.

Manchester United saw an opportunity to swap Lukaku for Dybala with some money addons.

This whole last week saw the swap deal complete until Dybala rejected the move to Old Trafford due to salary demands!!!

The Argentine forward wanted a salary of £350,000 to which Man United declined hence the deal falling through.

Inter Milan have been motivated by the failure of the Dybala swap deal to reignite interest in Lukaku.

It is understood that a new bid of £73M has been tabled by Inter Milan as written on daily mail

Let us hope Lukaku makes the switch to Inter Milan so that he can work under Conte who has wanted him for a long time now !!

Let me quote Conte on this issue below

'We continue to work on it in the best possible way,' said Conte after Inter's pre-season draw at Tottenham on Sunday.

'I understand there are some gaps that need to be filled but at the moment I am very hopeful that this will happen.

'With Lukaku, we are talking about a good player, a striker I tried to buy in the past when I was Chelsea's coach

Antonio Conte is still hopeful to land Lukaku before the close of the Italian transfer deadline of August 23.

Whatever reason Conte wants Lukaku, no one knows hehehe.

Lukaku exceled at Everton, but failed to reproduce that fine form in Man United.

He had 45 appearances where he scored 15 goals and 4 assists in the 2018/2019 season.

Let us hope the deal goes through before the season transfer deadline.

Love
